The Institute for Anti-Racist Education is a New Jersey-based nonprofit committed to ensuring that every student receives an education that is truthful, free from bias, liberating, and offered in a supportive, decolonized setting. Our offerings include workshops for educators, staff members, and Boards, along with comprehensive reviews of curriculum, handbooks, student data, and daily practices. Supported by a team of content-area experts, The Institute for Anti-Racist Education creates actionable plans to help schools dismantle practices that perpetuate white supremacy and center the white experience. Recognizing that schools are not equipped to meet the complex needs of their students alone, The Institute for Anti-Racist Education also offers partnership development consulting to help forge critical relationships with local experts and organizations.  Teachers who are interested in doing anti-racist work but are not currently receiving support from their districts can directly access services including workshops, newsletters, and online courses on our website. These offerings are available at a reduced rate to ensure that they are accessible to all educators committed to decolonizing their classrooms and curriculums.
