Anzen was born through the desire for a quality glove at an affordable price. With time living abroad, researching the market and with over 30yrs of playing and coaching experience our owner took the decision to make not buy his next pair of gloves.
The launch of Anzen came with support from a band of goalkeepers who believed in the need for new glove to enter the market that gave all the qualities that they wanted. A quality glove with a strong contact latex grip that would last and not fall apart or tear after a couple of uses.
The aim is not just to have an online shop but to have a hub for goalkeepers that included coaching advice, training drills, Q&A sessions and interviews with experienced coaches throughout the game.
A humble and subtle glove with a clear focus on design and performance. Less plastic in production with the aim to have all packaging being recyclable by 2022.
Anzen means safe and secure in Japanese, a country the owner spent many years living and learning about the culture and language and this glove brings together the key parts of his time living there.
