The Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery is the peak vascular surgery organisation in Australia and is responsible for overseeing specialist training in Vascular Surgery on behalf of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, maintaining continuing education and professional development in vascular surgery, establishing and supporting guidelines and standards of vascular surgical practice, and encourage scientific enquiry and research in vascular surgery.
The ANZSVS is the Australian and New Zealand Chapter of the ISCVS, and conducts an annual scientific conference that is open to all vascular specialists, including allied health practitioners and engaged patients throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and internationally.
