The ABC Assessment Centre, incorporated in 2018, supports the sector in its continual investment in creating a strong, skilled and qualified workforce by offering NVQ Assessments and Short Course Bricklayer Training. We consider that, when implemented correctly, the method of Onsite Training and Assessment (OSAT) is the most practical way to qualify and upskill construction workforces. For both the employer and the learner, it enables a cost effective and productive route to prove competency and gain qualification, as evidence is collected whilst the learner is working.
