Ali O. ArRakban Foundation (AORF) for Community Services is a Non-profit organization created to play a role and participating in improving the quality of life in Saudi Arabia by focusing on Urban environmental sustainability as inspired by Vision 2030. The activities of AORF will includes Awareness Campaigns & Events, Consultations & Counseling, Training & Qualifications, and Managing & Operating Public Parks and Facilities. AORF will actively works on improving the livability, walkability, and Environmental aspects of Neighborhoods Centers from religious, health, social, and services perspectives. The initial focus will be to participate in the vision of the Green Riyadh project that will contribute in increasing the per capita share of green space, and raise total green spaces through planting trees around all city features and facilities as well as in all its provinces including that all of the greening will be watered by recycled water from an irrigation network. The greening initiative will lead to improved air quality and reduced temperatures in the city and encourage Riyadh citizens to follow a healthy lifestyle and improve their social life. Then AORF will extend their initiatives to other cities in Saudi Arabia. Quality of Life Program and Vision 2030: Quality of life is one of the most important pillars of Saudi Vision 2030. It is a broad and complex concept that is defined in many ways. In brief, quality of life measures satisfaction in the “most valued” aspects of a citizen’s life. Two main concepts can be directly linked to the concept of quality of life and will be considered in the activities of AORF: 1. Livability: The basic living standards for leading a satisfactory life 2. Lifestyle: The options provided for people to live pleasant and comfortable lives
