The Asian Pacific American Leadership Foundation (Tax ID #13-4277572) was founded in 2004 as a non-partisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization designed to help prepare and better equip Asian Pacific American (APA) leaders for public service and civic involvement. Mission Statement Engage the Asian Pacific American (APA) community in active civic participation by creating, supporting, building and strengthening the local community infrastructure to help prepare and train qualified APA leaders for public service. APALF Goals & Objectives: +Encourage APA’s to be active leaders in their local communities and beyond. +Provide APA leaders with the tools and skills to contribute to American civic life. +Train APA leaders and future leaders for public service – including elected and appointed positions. +Serve as a resource to APA public officials and community organizations.
