apDia is a young biotech company founded in 2008 in Belgium. It relies on experienced staff, specialized in developing and manufacturing innovative IVD medical devices to be launched in various fields of application.
It is apDia’s primary objective to offer advanced, user-friendly and cost-effective immunoassays well suited for the intended health care settings. To meet the current trends in human health care and in in vitro diagnostics, apDia aims to develop and manufacture both high throughput IVDs destined for use in large centralized hospital settings, as well as individual immunoassays intended for evidence based personalized medicine (point-of-care testing, POCT).
Design and development of new medical devices is done in close collaboration with local or international companies and research centers such as universities. This allows the R&D team of apDia to broaden its view and knowledge on the clinical applications which in turn makes it possible to develop optimally designed medical devices. Collaborations are being established to explore innovative and promising new technologies.
apDia has implemented the Quality System ISO 13485:2003 and manufactures CE marked IVDs.
