APDIP started in 2002 by initiative of Dr Bonito Vitor from Oporto and some parents of children diagnosed with PIDs but it was only in 2004 that the first board of directors was elected and our statutes approved. In 2006 our Association started working on its corporate image with the approval of the logo that is still in use. In 2010 with the election of a new Board APDIP is infused with new a dynamic and a more pro-active and dynamic approach, making all efforts to better understand who the Portuguese patient are and what are their needs.
APDIP is constituted solely of volunteers who endeavor to work with health officials, institutions, physicians, families and patients to improve the general conditions to Portuguese Patients.
