APCC (APEC Climate Center) was established in 2005 with the unanimous endorsement and warm welcome of APEC senior officials and leaders at the first APEC Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) in Seoul, Korea. APCC has played an important role in the region in providing climate information products and services based on a multi-model ensemble prediction system.
