Buscamos visibilizar la relevancia global del hielo y su papel en los sistemas climáticos, ecológicos y sociales, así como fortalecer las colaboraciones entre jóvenes investigadoras e investigadores polares, artistas, pueblos originarios y comunidades del Sur Global.
Promovemos oportunidades para que la juventud mexicana se involucre en ciencia polar, educación, arte y acciones concretas para enfrentar la crisis climática desde una perspectiva interseccional y transdisciplinaria.

APECS Mexico is a network of young professionals committed to protecting the polar regions and highlighting their connection to Mexico and the world. We aim to raise awareness of the global relevance of ice and its role in climate, ecological, and social systems, while strengthening collaborations among early-career polar researchers, artists, Indigenous communities, and the Global South.
We promote opportunities for Mexican youth to engage in polar science, education, art, and concrete climate action through an intersectional and transdisciplinary lens.
