The non-profit organization Aperio has been there for parents and their children for over 22 years. It accompanies parents at all stages of their life journey. It is dedicated to expectant parents and their preparation for childbirth and parenthood, as well as to parents in challenging life situations, for whom it offers psychological and legal assistance in the form of a free "Poradna pro mámy a táty". For overwhelmed solo parents and families going through a breakup, Aperio runs support programs aimed at personal rebooting and maintaining a healthy family. It offers PREP 8.0, a prevention program for couples with the goal of building a satisfying relationship. Aperio doesn't forget the children either. Through its programs, it helps build a strong family foundation. It motivates and teaches parents to communicate with their children during crisis situations so that they can find the support they need. "Parenting is one of the most beautiful and meaningful roles in life. However, it is not always easy. On average, 4,000 parents a year turn to our counselling service. We publish up-to-date information, provide expert advice, listen, and act as their guides. Aperio's clear goals include spreading awareness about the status of parents and solo parents to the public and state institutions and improving their position in society."
