Aperitalia comes from an idea of Luigi Migliozzi and Verdiana Cosma, which after the MSc completion decide to move to Holland to start a new professional life. Very soon they recognize the popularity of Italy, and especially of its products, in this country.
So they select the best italian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) travelling through Italy, bringing away with them a little piece of their homeland: the true one, the best one. Aperitalia works directly with producers in order to offer authentic and genuine products.
We only work with italian SMEs, representing the real italian gastronomic tradition but unable to access the large-scale distribution, especially above. In this way, we try to contribute both local economic development, particurarly in Southern Italy, and the diffusion of high quality italian products belonging to our culinary tradition.
