The ancient city located on Lycia -which is known as the land of light- has an important place in the history as being the homeland of the glorious Roman Empire. Supposedly, the Gods and Goddesses such as Apollo and Artemis also had lived in the region, nearby the ancient city.
APERLAE LIVING has this magical feel of those ancient times, the Gods and Goddesses, the power of the Roman Empire and most importantly the mystic of ancient Anatolia, which is infused into every bit of the brand.
The brands founder/mother is Asena Sarıbatur. She grew up near the ancient city and learned swimming in the beautiful blue waters of the Eastern Mediterranean when she was only 4. Her love for nature, the sea, and the culture of the region she grew up became an inspirational source throughout her life. And now Asena complements her sense of style and mindset with her love for Aperlae.
