Aperture and Canvas is an online platform created for showcasing talents to help aspiring artists and photographers to unleash their creativity and display it to a relatively greater audience. We have started the project by creating a Facebook Group so that many talented youngings can showcase their talents using this as a platform. Once upon a time there was a boy wearing glasses, little bit shy but with a lot creative ideas. He gathered few more of his creative friends and opened a community to promote creative youth positively. These young people came forward and made a small world of creativities. Thus Aperture and Canvas started it's journey. About Our Last Event: -------------------------------- In this community we prioritize all kinds of talents and pertaining works that people put forward as each of them has a story to tell. Keeping the objective in mind, the committee had organized an event in order to encourage the many talented folks across the country to present their innovational and original artistic works for many other people who love and appreciate the beauty of art as well as to motivate young people to harness their talented spirits by their involvement in tremendous activities. Just two months ago we have successfully completed our event "Drooti Presents AAC Spring Carnival Co-sponsored by Finestra which commenced on the 25th of March and successfully ended on the 14th of April this year. At the end of the event, we were victoriously able to boost the number of involved members from 5000 to over 13000. Which is defined as an ‘’achievement’’ for us because comprehending the increase from the perspective which is in regards to the objective of the community, we have actually successfully motivated 7000 more people to exhibit their art and creativity! The event had attracted around 1500 artists and photographers who had actively participated in the competition and a total of 3100 works were submitted collectively from all the segments. Segments: -------------------------------- We had divided this event into 5 segments. Which were: ⬛ Photography (Mobile & DSLR) ⬛ Art (Traditional & Digital) ⬛ Poem Writing ⬛ Singing ⬛ Dance Each and every submissions were highly appreciated to us. Special Programs: -------------------------------- We organized 4 Facebook Live Programs and invited renowned Artist, Writer, Singer and Dancer. They joined us and talked about their profession, passion and the whole journey till the date. We strongly believe that our viewers got highly inspired and motivated from their life stories. Thus our goal became successful. Judges of the Event: --------------------------------- The most amazing part was we had some amazing honorable judges for our event's judgement. The judges were very experienced and some of the renowned personalities of Bangladesh. We had: ⬛ Nakib Shah Alam, a skilled Drone Pilot and Photographer; as the judge of our Photography segment. ⬛ Jenatunnesa Jenat, winner of Star Women Achievement Award, 2021; organized by ‘’Bangla’s Bir Foundation’’. as the judge of our Poem Writing segment. ⬛ Bikash Kormakar, a graduate from Dhaka university Fine Arts Faculty and currently working as a teacher. He is also working as Associate Editor of the “Shaluk” magazine. He was appointed as the judge of our Art segment. ⬛ Sumaitah Tabassum Khanom Logno,1st class officer at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy; as the judge of our Dance segment. ⬛ Sharara Tunti; as the judge of our Singing segment. Some words regarding our sponsors: ----------------------------------------- We had Drooti Delivery as the title sponsor and Finestra as the co sponsor of "AAC Spring Carnival 2021." We have promoted these companies in each and every possible way. Their logos held a special place in all of the posters, digital ID cards, banners, certificates and crests of the event. We have also promoted their brand and products by mentioning their name in our event title, description and twice in the live programs. Our sponsors were satisfied with our promotional activities and exposure. We are so grateful towards our sponsors. Without their contribution, this event would not have been a success.
