We deliver evidence-based solutions APEX delivers evidence-based solutions for prevention and treatment of injuries by interdisciplinary collaboration between orthopaedic surgeons and engineers. The APEX strategy for evidence-based solutions relies on research and interdisciplinary collaboration: We identify persistent challenges in trauma care that require specialized solutions to improve patient care in the near term. We conduct research to clearly define a challenge before developing a specialized solution. We develop specialized solutions in close interdisciplinary collaboration between surgeons and engineers to generate practical, clinically relevant products. We evaluate our specialized solutions to demonstrate their efficacy with published evidence.
