Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan-APFM

Association of Professional Financial Managers (APFM) -Professional Accountancy Organization APFM was established in 2007 and currently is the leading organization of the country with international accreditations and a wide range of experience. Association is a professional accountancy organization, the members of which are professional accountants and financial managers, accredited as "Professional Accountancy Organization" according to the Decision of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan. APFM is a member of the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors (EFAA) and International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). APFM has an improved organizational structure and a base of experienced professionals (8 Regulatory Committees, International Certification Center, training and methodological staff and Expert Group). APFM experts are also members of the EFAA Accounting EG expert group. APFM is the official coordinator of Eurasia Forum of Accountants and Auditors in Azerbaijan, which is already become traditional and has achieved the status of event of republic importance. APFM has been the organizer of 7 forums since 2007. Since 2014, APFM is offering professional membership programs based on international experience. As our main mission is development of accounting profession, through implementation of international standards, we also maintain CPD system and membership processes. APFM is an Official Representative of the British Institute of Certified Financial Managers -ICFM in Azerbaijan, APFM organizes trainings and exams on international qualifications. Beginning from 2013, APFM issue the magazine "FINANSIST" which provides information about the most important financial and economic developments in the world. The need for accountants to obtain a certificate of professional accountant and membership in a professional organization emphasizes the importance of awareness-raising activities of APFM as a professional accountancy organization.
