Apha Biomat’s new industrial facility will support Xenopha’s manufacturing operations, alongside with Meccellis.
Xenopha is the result of an intensive R&D program aiming at combining Meccellis’ expertise in biologics with a new biopolymer:P4HB. This hybrid combination allows for the design of natural 3D medical devices. Xenopha’s first indication is dedicated to breast reconstruction where a solution to replace silicon is eagerly awaited by patients and surgeons.
