A+ Tutoring is a startup online/virtual tutoring company founded by Ethio-American CEO, Fikir Yacob, based in Denver County. We have been working towards our mission to provide low-cost, affordable, and quality tutoring for students from underserved communities to alleviate disparities in education that have widened since the COVID-19 pandemic started. The company's vision is to establish the outsourced online tutoring model as an affordable means for underserved communities to close the educational gap. Our tutoring services are fully online/virtual leveraging innovative technologies in video communication, classroom instruction, online assessments, etc. to provide a seamless experience for students. We offer high-dosage tailored sessions to students to generate positive outcomes in their performance for the school year. (OSSE, 2021) Key to our business is that we are one of few tutoring companies that source highly qualified and vetted tutors from outside of the US, primarily in Ethiopia, making our service fees per hour one of the most affordable.
