Autism Provider Network of Northwest Ohio

Autism Provider Network of Northwest Ohio (APNNWO) (formerly known as Toledo Regional Autism Network) is a collaborative group of professionals that work together to leverage the resources of their respective organizations. APNNWO works with the collective community goal of improving services to meet the needs of individuals with autism and their families and caregivers. The network began as an initiative of the Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism (GLCA) now known as Avenues for Autism, a non-profit organization formed in 2004 by Bob and Suzy Tyner to honor their late son who was diagnosed with autism. Through the Strategic Partnership Alliance Grant from the Toledo Community Foundation, GLCA contracted with La Piana Consulting, an organization specializing in work with non-profits, to bring together community partners. Today, professionals from more than 20 organizations that serve individuals with autism join together on a bi-monthly basis to network, collaborate, connect, dialogue, and solve community challenges.
