Alexander Beasley is the owner of Apollo Sound with over a decade of experience working as a production sound mixer (location sound recordist, boom operator, sound technician, or audio engineer – whichever flavor best suits you!). A few of his clients include HBO, PBS, Adidas, Discovery+, and CBS just to name a few. As a production sound mixer for film and video, he’s dedicated to capturing clear, articulate, and highly intelligible dialogue. Throughout his career, Alexander has worn many hats including working as a production sound mixer and boom operator, supervising sound editor, voice over and ADR recordist, foley artist, ambient / field recordist, and sound designer. He’s supervised a number of feature and short films and has experience in documentary, commercial, and broadcast video. Alexander is recognized as having played an integral role in modernizing the film industry in Central Asia through his efforts to integrate production sound back into the filmmaking process.
