A.P Organics Limited is a part of Ricela group of companies – a 1500 crore turnover group which was established in the year 1992 with the sole objective of producing and promoting Rice Bran Oil as "World's Healthiest Cooking Oil". Rice bran oil also known as heart oil in Japan has been found to be the most ideal fat because of its balanced fat composition as per the latest WHO & NIN recommendations. It is an innovative cooking oil produced from the brown layer of brown rice called rice bran. The Company is using “Physical refining” process to refine this health friendly oil so as to preserve the nutrients which would otherwise be lost due to the use of chemicals. The Company has bagged four National Awards for research and development efforts in developing this technology in India for the first time. Ricela Group of Companies is today "World's largest producer" and India's "Highest Exporter" of refined rice bran oil. The manufacturing premises of the Group are located in district Sangrur in the Punjab province of India, which enjoys the distinction of being one of the largest rice producing districts in Asia. A.P Organics Ltd. is exporting refined rice bran oil to more than 30 countries, including the United States of America, Australia, Newzealand, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Poland, Holland, Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Israel, Thailand, Srilanka, Pakistan etc. Today, the Group has extraction capacity of 3000 tonnes per day, refining capacity of 600 tonnes per day and storage capacity of 40,000 MT thereby ensuring uninterrupted supply of quality end product to the customers. A.P Organics Limited has also developed a new technology for the production of Oryzanol concentrate from rice bran oil, which is known for a number of reported health benefits.
