Apparel Product Development, Inc. is a full-service design and development; consulting and training company. APD is remote product development department that serves the Apparel industry in the US and abroad. The company was founded in 2006. It was a dream, a vision. Today, APD is a creative, innovative entity. APD staff is a group of detail-oriented professionals with strong work ethic. We are constantly learning and experimenting. We build relationship with our clients as a long-term commitment to their vision and goals. Every project is different. We get inspiration from our clients, from the market, and from different industries. We are Apparel Architects: we develop the models, specifications and blueprints for new products. APD designs and develops the product from concept through production. Everything that is developed for the client is safe, securely stored, and will never be used for others. We collaborate with the client, using their data and industry standards to develop client's Fit standards. This is key for fit consistency throughout the product line. APD garment construction is based on modern technology. Our Technical Specs are filled with information and drawings. We use the latest Accumark software for pattern development, grading and markers. The Data can be converted and transferred globally upon client’s request. APD high quality approval samples (made in our sample room) along with Tech pack and markers are 'production ready' for cost-efficient manufacturing here and abroad. APD builds the garment and pattern based on automatic equipment and manufacturing requirements. We also review and evaluate pre-production samples to ensure successful and profitable production. Apparel Product Development is industry expert in apparel design and product development. APD works with our customer's design, marketing, sourcing, planning, manufacturing, and quality control departments on every aspect of design, development and production.
