APPEAR raises funds to award to individuals and organizations that work for improving the quality of children’s lives in India, both inside and outside school.
APPEAR seeks to support and fund two approaches to this goal:
Technical and technological development of resources for children, such as books, art products, and curricula; and
Providing children in India access to education, libraries, and other resources.
APPEAR engages in fund-raising in the USA and abroad and awards the funds to selected actors on the ground in India who are compatible with the vision of APPEAR India.
