Appellation Wine Tours is led by proprietor and Certified Sommelier, Paul Tilson. Paul was the former Food & Beverage/Wine Director at The Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara. The Wine & Restaurant Director at The Ojai Valley Inn and also acted as Senior Wine & Cuisine Manager, as well as wine Director for the iconic Meadowood Napa Valley. Paul is a Sommelier and has been running wine programs for many years. Over this time, Paul has fostered personal relationships with some of the most established and reputable winemakers and vineyard owners throughout the best wine producing regions in California. I curate and personalize every tour around my clients' wine needs and level of interest. Appellation wine Tours typically visit private estates and taste with either the wine maker and/or proprietors of the vineyard. I have a Michelin background and utilize my culinary expertise when creating your lunch in the vineyards.
