Application Software Centre is the Information Technology Software cell at IIT Bombay responsible for the digitisation of the Institute's Business processes and Electronic information exchange. ASC also manages the out-sourced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP) for the automation of finance, human resources and purchase business processes. The software applications developed by the centre can be categorised for: administrative users (back-office and faculty members) and self-service portals (employees, students, applicants, vendors, parents, pensioners etc.). The centre also facilitates IT integration with various infrastructure facilities like biometric smart cards, entry-exit identification, library, hospital, guest house etc. At ASC, we thrive on using state-of-art and advanced information and communication technologies for providing hassle-free service interface to our stakeholders.
