Founded in 1989 as an electronic design consultancy, Application Solutions (Safety and Security) Limited (ASL) embarked on its journey into the public address and voice alarm (PAVA) market in 1999. Focusing on designing and supplying cutting-edge EN54 certified Amplifiers, Microphones and DSP Audio Controllers for both London Underground and Network Rail. ASL then quickly established itself as a key supplier to the transport industry. Building upon this strong foundation, ASL now specializes in designing and manufacturing audio and control products for a global market, supporting a wide array of industries, addressing both emergency and non-emergency applications. In August 2021, Zenitel acquired ASL. Zenitel, a leader in intelligent critical communication technology, focusing on SIP-based Intercom / Help Points and IP speakers, is dedicated to further developing and integrating ASL’s excellent products and solutions. This strategic move enhances Zenitel’s market position, allowing for a more unified audio solution, enabling the delivery of comprehensive turnkey solutions to their customers.
