Our aim is to bring together applied psychologists with an interest in physical activity, with 2 key objectives:
i. Provide a community for education, support and shared practice in the field of
applied physical activity and exercise psychology
ii. Promote exercise psychology as a reputable and recognised profession amongst the general public, health and leisure sectors
The Operational Committee consists of Administrative Lead (Leigh Martin), Social Media Lead (Hana Nasser) and Meetings Lead (Paula Watson).
The network was Co-founded by Dr Paula Watson, Dr Amanda Pitkethly, Clara Swedlund, and Hannah Prince.
We have monthly meetings with various speakers and a range of topics.
