Applied SysBio provides data analytics consulting, specializing in projects that span data science, molecular/omics technologies, and computational biology/bioinformatics. Common deliverables are: - formulation of experimental design including quality controls - identifying appropriate analytics algorithms and implementing them - benchmarking algorithmic workflows (for proprietary data) - statistical analyses of (processed) datasets - processed data interpretation and translation (molecular hypothesis generation) Applied SysBio strives to understand project scientific (biological) questions/goals, provide appropriate data driven solutions, and support translation (molecular hypothesis generation/ recommendations for next steps). This approach holds that "cookie cutter" solutions do not really exist; projects require customization whether it is in data wrangling/QC, algorithmic processing, and/or tertiary analysis of algorithmic outputs (e.g., comparing to public datasets, mechanisms reported in literature).
