APPPs e.V. is an alumni association for former participants of the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX). It explicitly addresses those who have completed an exchange year at an American high school with the CBYX. The goal of the association is to build a large network of CBYX alumni and to raise awareness of the CBYX in order to strengthen German-American relations in the long term.
Members benefit from a wide range of events, including networking events, keynote speakers on transatlantic issues, visits to U.S. government officials, as well as workshops and seminars. Supporters of the association include the German Bundestag and the U.S. Embassy Berlin.
