AT projects, established in 1998 under Papua New Guinea's Association Incorporation Act, is a pivotal organization based in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province, dedicated to empowering rural communities through appropriate technologies. Our mission focuses on enhancing the quality of life for poorer community members, fostering sustainable development, and promoting self-reliance. We believe in the importance of local participation in technological choices, ensuring that communities have a say in their development. Our approach emphasizes using locally available skills and materials, which enhances the effectiveness of solutions and aligns with cultural traditions.
