APRLP Law was founded by Mr. Augustine Peter who had long years of experience in regulatory space. He served long years in the government of India in various capacities. He also served in nationalised banks. He has exposure at the United Nations (UNIDO). He has also served as Lead International Consultant on investment and industrial policy formulation.
He was Director, Trade Policy Division, Department of Commerce, looking after WTO related issues during 1998 to 2004. During this period, he dealt with the discussions in the WTO on Competition Policy and Investment Policy. He regularly participated in the Working Group Meetings on Competition Policy and Investment. Augustine Peter was member of the Inter-Governmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy and was elected its Vice Chairman in 2003.
