APT Northeast

APT Northeast is a chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology International encompassing New England, New York State, and northern New Jersey. This chapter was originally founded as the APT New York Chapter in the mid-1980s and the organization was restructured in 2003 to include our current territory and membership. At present we have over 300 members. APTNE is committed to serving this geographic community with regional and local preservation events and outreach. We conduct workshops, co-sponsor events with local and statewide preservation organizations, and sponsor symposia, including our annual meeting in late February. We support students interested in preservation by offering free student membership and discounted young preservation membership and event admission, as well as annual scholarship opportunities.
