APTAN取自App（應用程式）與Titan（泰坦）字彙的融合。 Titan，是古希臘神話中，於奧林帕斯眾神統治前最古老強大的神族，被譽為眾神之祖，代表了「App中的王者」，象徵我們將以一身戎裝，迎向世界無數未知的挑戰；另外Titan一詞有「巨人」之意，也代表著APTAN將以最優秀的app為目標，向頂尖邁進。
