Our All Natural Premium Hardwood Lump Charcoal is a blend of three different types of hardwood (predominantly White Quebracho, plus Mistol & Guayacan) which are the hardest and most dense woods to be found in South America and probably worldwide. In particular, the White Quebracho is known as the axe breaker ("Quiebra Hacha" in spanish). This hardwood explotation follows environmental and sustainability guidelines set by local authorities. The hardwood is hand picked and processed in brick kilns, the method that has been used by locals for generations. AQ Charcoal is free of added chemicals or fillers and XL sized.Our charcoal lights fast, provides superior heat and longer burn times than traditional charcoal.
