Our flagship project, Smart Safety Nets, is a rapid-response fall-arrest system designed to reduce fatal injuries in high-rise construction and residential buildings. The system detects a falling object or person in real time using camera-based vision sensors and deploys a high-tensile net using a servo-activated spring mechanism—providing a life-saving safety layer in critical moments. Smart Safety Nets was conceptualized, designed, and prototyped with affordability and efficiency at its core. Using accessible hardware, a modular software framework in Python, and integration with Arduino-based actuation, we demonstrate how innovation can scale without compromising safety. This project reflects our commitment to problem-solving, human-centered design, and responsible technology.
