Disease in global fish farming costs the aquaculture industry in excess of £6 billion per annum through mortality and reduced growth rates. It leads to increased use of antibiotics. This problem is addressed through the development of effective vaccines and delivery systems which can massively reduce the economic, environmental and welfare impact of disease outbreaks.
