AquaPave Permeable Concrete

Urban areas are increasingly converting soil to impervious surfaces, where vehicle deposition, litter, etc., settle on the ground. During rain events, these pollutants rinse into stormwater drains and discharge untreated pollution into delicate aquatic ecosystems. In order to mitigate this problem, AquaPave has created a cementitious permeable concrete. AquaPave's concrete contains an interconnected void structure that allows rainwater to pass through it, and as it does, it treats pollutants at the source. AquaPave can be used in lieu of conventional concrete for streets, driveways, cycleways and sidewalks, and it functions without compromising the strength needed for vehicular movements.
