NGO AquaTerra

A student-led NGO that believes the best way to learn is to build. What started as small weekend drives and community workshops in Kolkata has grown into a platform where young people create real-world impact. No corporate funding. No external funding or support. Only students; experimenting, learning from failure, and building with determination. In the last four years, AquaTerra has: 🌱 Planted 900+ saplings 🐾 Fed over 10,000 stray dogs 🏫 Conducted 600+ awareness workshops across menstrual health, good/bad touch & climate education 👕 Donated 750+ kg of clothing through city-wide collection drives 🎉 Hosted 1500+ participants across 3 editions of our flagship fest Paradox 🤝 Partnered with 35+ schools, NGOs, and youth-run organizations From that foundation, three student-led startups were born—each built inside the AquaTerra ecosystem: 🔹AQ Roots Our student led clothing brand, where design meets purpose. Each piece directly supports grassroots action. 🔹 AQ Shikshaq A tutoring network that connects school students to mentors within their locality. 🔹 AQ Ventures A support circle for student-run businesses offering visibility, resources and more. 📌 Certified Welfare Trust, and recognized for grassroots youth leadership.
