Some 20 years ago an enthusiastic partnership founded ARA Group, a privately owned company, involved in ship owning, shipmanagement and shipbroking. The Group’s shipowning and shipmanagement activities are based in Werkendam, The Netherlands. ARA Shipmanagement B.V. takes care of the daily management of her own, privately owned short sea fleet, a modern fleet of multi-purpose and container vessels which are deployed world-wide. All Sale and Purchase activities of the ARA Group are handled by ARA Ship Brokers Hamburg GmbH based in Hamburg Germany. Besides acting as the in-house broker on behalf of ARA Ship Management, ARA Shipbrokers GmbH. is very active on the competitive Sale and Purchase market as well.
