Established in June 2024 by the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils (FASRC) and funded by the Arab Research and Innovation Co-Funded Alliances (ARICA), ArabBioNet represents a collaborative effort to advance scientific research and innovation across the Arab region.
The network was formally launched in December 2024 by its esteemed founding members: Amany Maher, Nahla Afifi, Maher Sughayer, Ahmed Samir, Doaa El Sayed, Marwa Hussien, and Sawsan Mahmoued.
