“You can’t manage, what you don’t measure” Our rainforests are home to the planet’s largest collection of plants, animals, and insects. But these rainforests are being destroyed at an alarming rate and with them, biodiversity is being lost before their value can even be realized. Without adequate data, decision-makers can’t make informed decisions on sustainability and conservation. Traditional biodiversity surveys are costly, inefficient, and resource-intensive, often requiring large groups of specialists to spend extended periods of time in a remote location. In order to “Keep an Eye On Nature” AraceEye is developing a solution to complete rapid rainforest biodiversity surveys.
