Aranyaarth is a not-for-profit forestation company (re)creating wilderness corridors to connect ancient forests together, with the help of empowered communities. We focus on environmentally regenerative practices and sustainability education bringing awareness on native practices and sustainable construction methods. Aranyaarth is pre-incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore. Our Vision: If you could do anything, what would you choose to do? With almost all life-supporting natural resources under tremendous pressure of human consumption, our primary imperative as a society comes down to ensure their regeneration at an adequate rate for us to survive the sixth mass extinction already underway. And not one of us can do without the support of others! At Aranyaarth, we believe that when enough of us join and work as communities and bring our lifestyles more and more in alignment with Nature and natural cycles, we will not only survive but thrive along with our natural environment. Our vision for practising these beliefs is through creating corridors of wilderness connecting the old-growth forests of various types, spread across the country! Communities of foresters living in the periphery of these forests create and maintain these corridors, practising various regenerative activities. These communities also host various educational programs to share their learnings as offerings to those who wish to live a healthier and happier life in alignment with the natural environment.
