ARATA's mission is to build and sustain an inclusive assistive technology community of practice in Australia.
Our activities aim to advance rehabilitation and assistive technologies by supporting and promoting best practice for rehabilitation and assistive technology provision.
Our Strategic Goals:
1. Influence policy and sector development to ensure access to AT products and services for all.
2. Support and develop AT education and research by promoting specialised skills and knowledge.
3. Engage, develop, strengthen and support local and global assistive technology communities using a rights based approach.
4. Ensure ARATA’s sustainability, financial viability and relevance.
