Canub TV Limited Liability Company was established in 2007. The total volume of weekly broadcasts is 168 hours. About 70 percent of total airtime is produced in the country, and 30 percent are programs abroad.
Lankaran TV, which was broadcasted in southern Azerbaijan, was awarded a license for a period of 6 years, after winning the broadcast in June 2007, winning the competition announced by the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council (CTV), which has won the 29th frequency 14th television in Azerbaijan, has turned 31 December into a trio for the South. On the first occasion, CTV began broadcasting in the southern regions of Azerbaijan - Lankaran, Astara, Jalilabad, Masalli, Lerik, Yardimli and Bilasuvar.
At present ARB Canub is broadcasting with various styled programs and films from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm in the course of 18 hours. CTV family, which has developed various analytical and informational programs, musical-entertaining programs, authoring telecoms, social and political broadcasts, aims to further expand and develop. More than 30 TV projects have been screened at CTV, which presents nearly 10 different programs and broadcasts, as well as documentary, feature films, for the first 2 months of the event. Among them are “Bir cənub səhəri”,"Zəka", "Absurd şou" ”Bələdçi”, ”Bərəkət” ,”Bilirsinizmi?!…”, “Biznes qlobal”, “Can sağlığı”, “Həmsöhbət”, “İncilər”, “24 kadr”, "Cavanlar", “Şok videolar”, “Söz məndən, söz səndən”, “Tap və qazan”, “Telestadion”, “Ürək sözü”, “Üz-üzə”, “Seyf”,"300" show programs.
On September 19, 2016, the TV channel Canub TV was renamed to "ARB Canub".
