Arbaro de Espero

Arbaro de Espero believes in the power of plants to help the world become a more peaceful and a happier place. Arbaro de Espero supports and encourages each human being to start planting, even if it is on a small scale, in a small garden, or even on a balcony. The aim of Arbaro de Espero is to help, teach and encourage its members and followers to build a small orchard, in a garden, or in pots, that will become productive, and provide their households with fresh and organic salads, vegetables and fruits. The lifestyle of human beings in the 21st century gives little space and time to gardening, that is often seen as a time consuming activity requiring a lot of patience. Yet, we cannot honestly say right now that the world is a happy, or a fair place. There are people who live in material abundance, and other human beings who live in a tragic poverty, having their most basic rights denied. And this is not something acceptable. Arbaro de Espero believes in removing the boundaries and barriers between Earth's citizens. Plants are what unite each and every human beings, as they are necessary for our survival, but also beautiful to look at and contemplate, as much as a work of art. Therefore Arbaro de Espero focuses on both aspects: planting to eat healthy food, but also to make our surrounding more beautiful, and poetic. Arbaro de Espero believes that all political currents and international organizations have failed to various degrees. New ideas and thoughts are needed in order to tackle the challenges we are currently facing. The choice of Esperanto goes in this direction. Esperanto is not the official language of any country in the world, and it was created to become the language of peace, and of hope. We are not taught to speak Esperanto at school, and yet, we should. Each follower of Arbaro de Espero is invited to send us pictures of a plant/tree they cultivate (or that wildly sprouts) with an explanation about it, and we will repost them giving full credits.
