Arcadia Windpower

Arcadia Windpower is a renewable energy company that develops projects and provides consulting & advisory services. Founded by Peter Mandelstam in 1997, Arcadia developed the first wind project in Montana. Peter formed Bluewater Wind in 2001, and later Arcadia Offshore, to develop offshore wind projects. The Arcadia team has over 25 years of cumulative experience in the wind industry. Arcadia's offshore team originated and led the Bluewater Wind projects for more than 10 years and some key milestones include: winning the nation’s first offshore wind Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), securing site control with the US Department of the Interior’s Determination of No Competitive Interest for the Delaware WEA (leading to a Lease of 96,430 acres), and signing an Interconnection Services Agreement with the grid operator (PJM). Green Sail Energy is a special purpose project company used by the Arcadia Windpower development team.
