Artifex Flexible Tubes Limited was founded in 1971, in Surrey, England. By utilizing new and improved methods of engineering to produce convoluted metal hose, the family run business expanded considerably, becoming a world leader in the manufacture and supply of stainless-steel hose, braid and hose assemblies. Arcflex was founded in 1988. Also a family run business, Arcflex Limited specialized in the manufacture of bespoke flexible hose assemblies, bellows and expansion joints for all industries, offering integrated precision engineering as well as design, fabrication and testing. The two UK companies merged in 2019 into a new purpose-built facility in Staffordshire, and as of August 2024 are part of the Hydraflex Group of Companies. Hydraflex set a solid base for the future of the business through additional investment, and the introduction of a reformed philosophy.
