Arch + Light Design Lab

ARCH + LIGHT DESIGN LAB is a creative practice, established in 2015, which encompass architecture, lighting and design. Our creative portfolio and engagement ranges from large scale high rise buildings to small scale product design assignments such as furniture and light fittings. We use light to alter the experience of the visual environment and create pleasant spaces for the people who live, work, visit or move through them. We provide innovative design solutions, sustainable and cost efficient with the use of the latest technologies. We design with awareness about light pollution because we care to preserve another source of magic light, the night-sky. Our work is wide-ranging in terms of type and scale including residential, hotel, offices, retail and mixed use projects, exhibitions and monuments. We work in close collaboration with our clients, architects and designers to create innovative and high quality projects on budget and on time. We do Architecture. We create forms, structures and spaces. We use materials to create details, rhythms and expressions. But our preferable material is light, natural and artificial. We do lighting design. We are inspired and challenged by the unique properties and benefits of light and we use our technical knowledge and our sensitive design to bring light into space, to light the darkness but as much as necessary. We compose, we use light and shadow, colours and textures to create atmospheres, to transform visual perceptions and stimulate sensations and interactions. We do design. We design products for our clients, ranging from commercial lighting systems to crafted light sculptures and furnitures, always with attention to the quality of light, the aesthetical design of the object and the technology sustainability.
