archi.tours will offer virtual stories about architecture as a new form of journalism. Created with the latest VR technology, the virtual tours combine high quality panoramic photography with story panels. archi.tours provides beautifully crafted visual journeys, which can cover an entire building. Each panorama is enhanced with a text that completes the story with information about the architect, stylistic approach, materials, historic context and other specific details. The goal of the project is to provide knowledge in an accessible and visually engaging format. It is a project that aims to become a global journalistic platform on architecture and design, and generate wider knowledge about our built environment.
