Architectural and Heritage Scanning Ltd are a 3D scanning and survey company that specialises in making digital twins from the smallest of coins to a cathedral tailored to the clients requirements. We have successfully recorded Peterborough Cathedral to 3mm accuracy using 770 lidar scanner set ups totalling 20 billion points for the point cloud & collected 30,000 photographs. We have also used high resolution close range scanners to record the cathedrals artefacts. With this data a historic record is not only kept but it can also be used to assist with conservation, manufacturing reproduction, educational aids and digital online viewing of areas that need to be preserved and are inaccessible to the general public and people with disabilities.
